WeMe FOREST

Learning in the forest is a learning method that takes place in an outdoor landscape, where children and teachers are inspired by nature and learn through experiential experiences and problems that they have to solve.

The walls, in which today's child is forced to spend much of his everyday life, are broken down and their place is taken up by the sky, the grass, the trees, the birds.Natural materials, sounds, and smells are precursors to engage and trigger questions and observations that concern the world, the relationship of man to animals and plants, mathematics, physics and evolution, even art. As they constantly experience and act with body and spirit, the young children explore themselves and develop their abilities in terms of autonomy, self-confidence, teamwork, critical thinking, and even more of their ability to learn energetically, or else to learn how to learn!

Through interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching methods that are flexible in adapting to the needs of the child, the nature, and the sudden, emerging and stimulating interest, teachers help children recognize the importance of respect for the environment and towards self-respecting themselves, always following specific safety and hygiene rules for each child and adult involved in the process.

WHY WE HAVE DECIDED NOW TO TRY YOUR SCHOOL SCHOOL LIFE IN NATURE.

We decided once a week that our activities take place on the hill of Lycabettus. We believe that the particular group is in an appropriate developmental stage that can manage its forces with thought and attention in the physical space and manage to follow the rules for the safe and efficient execution of the program. On the other hand, strengthening independence, courage, observation, decision-making, the crisis will help these children in their next school step.

A very important end we consider the opportunity that nature gives us in the development of language. In trying to explain, analyze, remember, connect, discuss phenomena, they will experience the challenge of enriching their vocabulary according to the times at which the events occurred and expressing their thoughts verbally either later in school, or at home. Finally, this first contact with nature education can be the beginning of the continuation of similar interventions by children in the future.
