The knowledge that children acquire is an adaptation process to their natural and social environment and not only a discovery of an already existing world. It is actively constructed by the kids themselves, aiming at satisfying their personal needs and it cannot be passively perceived by their environment. The purpose of ‘’knowing’’ is to organize their experiences of the world making them meaningful. Therefore, the teaching and learning processes are based on the interference of social factors as well. The family environment of the children significantly affects the way that they perceive the world.
The children in our school will be naturally integrated into the natural and social environment, following their own path, depending on their own power. We offer them the chance to construct knowledge through various activities provided in our place with the aid of our experienced staff. Constructing and discovering knowledge by themselves, leads to the development of a healthy and creative personality.
Our main goal is their pleasant integration into the team, developing a cooperative and participatory behavior. Based on that , the majority of the activities is adapted to the team and the smooth integration of the kid in it.
Therefore there is no sex distinction among the kids. They are equally treated and the activities that they perform are only based on their own interests and abilities.
The difference and uniqueness of every child comes due to their personal and social development and our goal at WeMe is to maintain and support it as much as we can.
